  • Thank you. Have been looking everywhere to figure out how to include a "round" function formula into another formula (maximum, minimum, average). This is exactly what I needed!

  • Ahhh!!! This is exactly what I was looking for! I couldn't figure out how to round using a formula and the function!

  • great tutorial!

  • Hi,

I done that roundup option for estimating materials requirement.

4.25 is entering as whole number of 5 but when am multiplying with 20 it should give 100/- . Since am getting 85/- only. Kindly do the needful.

  • Great info , many thanks

  • THANK YOU VERY MUCH, I AM SAVED TODAY!!! hehehe

  • its good 🙂

  • Phone Booth movie ?

  • Hwhat

  • TLC4Sher, did you figure it out? Im trying to do ithat now, I need if the number is more than 4.10 it rounds up and if is 4.09 to round down, can you help me please

  • So helpful, thank you!

  • I don't know why it works on your computer, but when I hit the "increase decimal" button, it just adds decimal places to the ALREADY rounded number. Which means its just adding zeros. Which means its completely fucking useless and it makes me want to bring my computer to Bill Gates and throw it at his fucking head for allowing the creation of such an inane function!

  • @ TLC4Sher – I would try to use a multiplier, 200 in your case, round, then divide by the 200…

  • Omg!! This totally makes sense.
The increase, decrease decimal option in Excel doesn't change the value AT ALL!
That's why there's errors in my calculations when I use the calculator.
    THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

  • I need your help.
I tried your tutorial on my work & it didn't work….can you tell me what l should be doing
    ……
I need to make a cell round up when .005 or more & round down when .005 is less whilst a formula is already in the cell….

    Does this make sense?
