Word 2016 – Creating Templates – How To Create a Template in MS Office – Make a Template Tutorial




In this Microsoft Word 2016 Tutorial, I show you how to create a custom template. The example that I use is for writing letters, but this can be applied to various templates throughout the Office 365 suite. Creating customized templates in Word allows you a solid foundation and starting point whenever you begin a file. This tutorial is designed for beginners who want to learn more about Microsoft Office and how to use the program. The skills learned on this video can be applied to the MOS Exam for Word.

  • Good day, when I create a template if I want certain area to become popup items to reminder me to input information in a certain area only in my letter. How do I do that? I.e. reminder to change the date, customer name, address, appointment date and time, etc.

  • I have a template that I'm working in to create a book. The file size continues to grow as I add pages. How do I save pages to a separate file as chapters that can be compiled later to finish the book?
